The Venus software package controls the Venus 200minilab system fully automatically.
Setting up the analysis via the graphical interface is straightforward. To assemble a program, the elements to be measured are selected from a periodic table display, or by listing the compounds of interest. In the latter case, the software itself searches for the appropriate element.
Calibration is simplified by automatic calculation routines, which correct for matrix effects and line overlaps. This ensures high accuracy for the majority of applications. However, users can modify parameters based on analytical requirements.
Statistical Process Control
Venus software incorporates a statistical process control (SPC) module. This is essential for observing process trends and giving early warning of potential problems. This conforms to Good Laboratory Practice standards.
Password protection
Privilege levels secure stored programs and data against unauthorized or accidental interference. Routine operators are restricted to the essential actions required for day-to-day analysis.
